The Privacy Policy contained therein forms part of the Terms of Use governing the use of the website and web application (collectively, the “Website”) operated by Shing Heng Group (“Shing Heng”, or“we”).

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of how Shing Heng manages personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“Act”).

General

  1. This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time at Shing Heng’s sole discretion, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Privacy Policy on the Website. You undertake to periodically review the Privacy Policy, and your continued use of the Website and/or the services provided thereunder shall amount to an acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.

By using the Website and/or submitting any information to us, you agree and consent to toShing Heng collecting, using and processing your Personal Data, and disclosing such Personal Data to our authorised service providers and relevant third parties in the manner set forth in this Privacy Policy and/or as may be allowed under the Act.

Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, Shing Heng may not be in a position to continue to provide its products or services to you or administer any contractual relationship in place, and as a result you may no longer be able to use or access the Website (or related web applications).

  4. Please note that Shing Heng may be required by law to keep and maintain records of transactions and your Personal Data for legal, regulatory or audit purposes. Any request which you make will be subject to these legal obligations.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Privacy Policy, your account with us and/or your use of the Website must be submitted for mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre (“SMC”) in accordance with SMC’s Mediation Procedure in force for the time being. Either party may submit a request to mediate to SMC upon which the other party will be bound to participate in the mediation within 45 days thereof. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the Mediator will be appointed by SMC. The mediation will take place in Singapore, in the English language and the parties agree to be bound by any settlement agreement reached.
