With effect from 1 January 2023:
Under section 63(1) of the Pawnbrokers Act 2015, a notice of forfeiture must be served within 2 months from the expiry of the redemption period, at the pawnbroker's cost. More modes of service of the notice will be made available:
(i) In person
(ii) SMS
(iii) Internet-based messaging tools/services* (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, pawnbroker's website portal)
(iv) Email
(v) Registered post
Pawnbrokers that offer cashless payment modes** may impose a fee of S$2 for each pawn ticket issued. The fee will apply regardless of how the pawner makes payment. It will not apply if the pawn ticket is issued for:
(i) Change of pawner's address, telephone number or email address,
(ii) Change of pawnbroker's name or address,
(iii) Correction of any error on the pawn ticket.
*Subject to pawner's written consent.
**Credit facilities (e.g. credit cards) are excluded.

根据《2015 年典当法令》第6363（11）条，没收通知必须在赎回期届满后两个月内送达，费用由当商承担。除了原有的“没收通知”挂号信，本会旗下会员的典当业者将增添以下通知方式以便为当客提供更多便利。更多通知发送方式：
(i) 亲临当店
(ii) 短讯 (短讯服务)
(iii) 互联网讯息工具 服务* (例如WhatsApp 、电报、典当行的网站平台)
(iv) 电子邮件
(v) 挂号信
提供无现金支付模式** 的当商可对每张当票收取2 新元的费用。无论典当者以何种方式付款（包括现金付款在内 ))，皆将收取2 新元费用。如果当票是基于以下情况签发则不收取费用：
(i) 更改典当者的地址、电话号码或电邮地址
(ii) 更改典当业 者的姓名或地址
(iii) 更正当票上的任何错误
*须取得典当者的书面同意
** 信贷设施（例如信用卡）不包括在内
